It is often made on a special occasion, at weddings or at festivals. But even if you feel like eating something sweet, you can make it at your home anytime. Along with children, this is also a favorite dish of elders.
So let’s see the easy recipe of Gulab Jamun that everyone likes.
Gulab Jamun Recipe
To make Gulab Jamun, first grate Mawa 3 to 4 times with the help of a grater.
Then keep this mawa in a big plate and add flour, cardamom powder, baking powder and milk to it and mix it well to make it soft and smooth dough.
Then prepare small round balls with this dough.
Now put sugar and 1 to 1½ glass of water in a pan and keep it on the gas.
Keep stirring it continuously.
When the sugar melts completely then after 5 minutes let it cook and then turn off the gas.
Sugar syrup of Gulab Jamun is ready. (The syrup of Gulab Jamun should not be too thick.)
Now put ghee in another pan and keep it on the gas.
Medium hot ghee is required for frying Gulab Jamun.
When the ghee becomes medium hot, then add a few round mawa balls in the ghee.
Stir it with ghee and pour the ghee on top of the gulab jamun with the help of spoon.
When the mawa turns brown, fry them lightly from all the sides.
Fry the gulab jamuns till they turn brown on all sides.
Then take them out in a plate and put them in sugar syrup.
Similarly, fry all the mawa balls and put them in sugar syrup.
In 1 to 2 hours, Gulab Jamuns will be sweetened by soothing sugar syrup.
